Our outreach programs are dedicated to helping those in need within our community. Discover how you can make a difference.
Our Meals and Provisions (MAPs) ministry serves our neighbors during times of need. We have an emergency food pantry and offer weekly community meals where we break bread and build community.
Emotional Support Team - First Responder Chaplaincy
Pastor Christina is part of the Southern Oregon Chaplaincy Association and is a designated Chaplain for the Coos County Sheriff Office to assist with difficult calls for the public and our first responders. We are raising money to add a 4 legged partner to our team. We would like to provide a licensed and trained emotional support dog to our chaplaincy team.
Local School Reading and Staff Appreciation Ministry seeks to help kids in our community learn to read, be confident in their reading skills, and encourage staff that are speaking into the lives of the next generation.
Young Adult and Teen Activities. We want our young adults to feel welcome and to have things to do in our community. We will host a Role Playing Game (similar to D&D but Christian Fantasy) with accompanying study one Friday night a month.
Teens can join us as we head over to our sister church, Bay Area Nazarene Sundays at 5pm to connect with other youth in our county. Beginning January 2025.
SUDS Ministry (Serving Up Dignity). Our goal is to have a SUDS ministry up and running by mid 2025. Our goal is to have a shower trailer that we can transport to different parts of the county where shower resources for our homeless population are scarce. Primarily south Coos County. We will provide a temporary space for individuals to shower on a scheduled basis that moves around the community one day a week.
